It may not feel like it, but there’s still time to bring some holiday cheer into your home that doesn’t involve hanging an ornament, plugging in lights, or using tape, wrapping paper, or scissors! Below are five quick and easy things to do to make your home feel a bit more Christmas-y...in case you needed a few ideas!

1.      Add ornaments to a glass jar. I love this jar! I can change the "filling" as needed to match my décor!

2.    Pick up some poinsettias.

3.    Have “holiday” treats and goodies in a dish. Am I the only one who thinks of walnuts, pecans, and tangerines as Christmas treats?

Except don't leave the tag thing on your basket of treats!

4.    Put some berries in a vase. LOVE these berries!

5.     Pull out the Christmas dinnerware or pick up the plastic and paper stuff from the Dollar Tree. My children love using these and I may or may not have that straw in my cup right now!

What other last minute touches do you add to your home?

  2. I am obsessed with poinsettias this year for some reason. I have them inside and outside. This year I was really into Christmas decor for my home. I even put lights outside, which I have never done! Actually, the kids begged for lights but I even wanted to put them up. I labsolutely love the ornaments in the glass jar! So simple but an elegant look to add to your home. All awesome ideas!!!!!!
